Specifically, getting and maintaining four 100/100 scores in Lighthouse, passing automated accessibility tests like Axe DevTools, and taming the verbose W3C Validator? This talk demonstrates that achieving these rigid constraints is not as hard as it seems and can still allow for significant creativity. Through a showcase of several static websites, the speaker will illustrate how sites can pass quality, performance, and accessibility tests with flying colors while remaining incredibly useful for humans, bots, and AI agents. Using the HTML5 Boilerplate as a starting point, the session introduces tools such as Yellow Lab Tools and Arc Toolkit to help developers build their own "perfect" websites. The presentation concludes by critiquing the very concept of perfection, comparing the "cone of perfection" with the common imperfections of the real-world web.
