Description:
What would a Linux text interface designed for mobile devices look like? This session introduces Huckleberry, a Nix-based distribution featuring a TUI shell intended for small laptops and handheld devices with keyboards. The speaker will walk through the development process—from searching for existing console software to building a bespoke menu-based mobile shell—and discuss the iterative design process of integrating these components into a portable Nix configuration based on early user feedback and real-world testing.
